Report: Stephan El Shaarawy bound for Monaco

Monaco are on the verge of agreeing a season-long loan deal for AC Milan winger Stephan El Shaarawy, according to reports.

AC Milan winger Stephan El Shaarawy has travelled to Monaco ahead of a move to the Ligue 1 side, according to reports.

The 22-year-old scored just three goals in 18 appearances for the Rossoneri last season.

He is thought to be valued at £12.2m by AC Milan, though Monaco will take him on a season-long loan for a fee of £1.5m, with an option to purchase him outright for around £8.7m, reports Sky Sport Italia.

El Shaarawy is scheduled to have a medical in Monte Carlo on Monday, the report adds.
