Report: Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim eyes up Premier League role

Leonardo Jardim will look to leave Monaco in order to join a top Premier League club, according to a report.

The man who masterminded Arsenal's Champions League exit, Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim, is reportedly keen to land a Premier League job in the near future.

The 40-year-old, who criticised opposite number Arsene Wenger for failing to shake his hand in the aftermath of the French club's away-goals victory, signed a two-year deal at the Stade Louis II last summer.

Jardim also has the option to extend that contract by another 12 months should he wish, although the Daily Star claims that the Portuguese coach has eyed up a top job in England following his recent exploits.

As well as guiding Monaco into the last eight of the Champions League, Jardim's side are also sitting in fourth place in the Ligue 1 table despite losing top talents James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao prior to the start of the season.
