Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has insisted that he was pleased with a point following his side's 1-1 draw away to Monaco on Sunday.
The Frenchman admits that Claudio Ranieri's team were deserving of their second-half equaliser, but is adamant that his team could have taken maximum points.
"The draw reflected the match. In the first half PSG were superior to Monaco, we scored a goal and had chances to score more," he told reporters.
"Monaco came out after half time with a different system, we sat back and they equalised. Then the team wanted to push forward again and we could have won it with the last chance of the match.
"A draw at Monaco isn't a bad result. [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic was playing through a niggle but we didn't take any undue risks with him. He's a very important player for us and he could have won the game in the 90th minute."
The result leaves PSG five points ahead of second-placed Monaco in the table.
