Youngster Nico Yennaris signs a new contract with Arsenal.

Arsenal have confirmed that Nico Yennaris has signed a new contract with the club.

The 19 year-old, who made three senior appearances for the Gunners last season, has come through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium.

Having included the England youth international in the club's pre-season tour of Asia this summer, manager Arsene Wenger has now offered him an extension to his deal.

"Everyone at Arsenal wishes Nico continued success with the club," read a short statement on the club's official website.

Yennaris spent part of last season on loan with League One side Notts County.
