Jack Wilshere 'could be loaned to Premier League rivals'

Arsenal have reportedly not ruled out the possibility of sending midfielder Jack Wilshere on loan to a fellow Premier League club this season.

Arsenal have not ruled out the possibility of loaning Jack Wilshere out to another team in the Premier League, according to reports.

Speculation emerged yesterday claiming that the 24-year-old has been given the green light to leave the club on a temporary basis in order to build up his fitness.

The injury-plagued midfielder has been limited to just two substitute appearances this season and missed out on a place in Sam Allardyce's first England squad.

Wilshere has slipped further down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium following the summer arrival of Granit Xhaka, with the likes of Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil also providing competition for the England international.

PA claims that a move to a fellow Premier League club has not been ruled out, although there is yet to be any solid interest in the midfielder ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline.
