West Ham United have reportedly identified Arsenal defender William Saliba as a priority target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite injuries to Angelo Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma, West Ham failed to bring in a new centre-back in January, much to the frustration of manager David Moyes.
However, according to Jeunes Footeux, the Hammers are already planning their strategy ahead of 2022-23 with Saliba featuring highly on their shortlist.
The report claims that the East London outfit are ready to offer their city rivals as much as €30m (£25.31m) to get a deal over the line.
Although he cost a similar fee back in 2019, Saliba is yet to make a first-team appearance for Arsenal, instead spending loan spells at Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille.
The 20-year-old's stock has risen considerably at the latter, Marseille only conceding 13 goals in 22 Ligue 1 fixtures and challenging for second spot behind Paris Saint-Germain.
A report earlier this week claimed that Arsenal were ready to do business at the fee allegedly being considered by West Ham.
