Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remained coy on signing a new striker during the January transfer window.
The Gunners have been linked with a number of centre-forwards following an ankle injury to Nicklas Bendtner that will reportedly keep him on the sidelines for up to six weeks.
"We are short because Theo [Walcott] is not very tall!" the Frenchman told reporters when asked if his side were short in attack.
"We still have [Lukas] Podolski and [Mesut] Ozil on the bench. [Olivier] Giroud was sick, he was not injured, so for the next game he should be available.
"Of course if we lose Theo for a longer period, it is a problem."
Arsenal are currently a point clear at the top of the Premier League table.
