Tottenham Hotspur 'to beat Arsenal to signing of PSG winger Ezequiel Lavezzi'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly expected to beat North London rivals Arsenal to the signature of Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi this month.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in the driving seat to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi, who has also attracted interest from Arsenal.

Spurs are believed to have joined the race to sign the Argentina international, who was pursued by Arsenal in the summer, but the Gunners failed to agree a deal with PSG.

According to Telefoot, Arsenal are expected to lose out again as their North London rivals are favourites to land the 30-year-old in January.

Lavezzi's contract with the Ligue 1 giants expires at the end of the season.
