Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing central defender Ben Godfrey from Norwich City, despite his £50m valuation.
Spurs, recently linked with Norwich full-back Max Aarons, are believed to be looking to strengthen at the back ahead of next season.
City rate Godfrey highly and are after a large sum for the 22-year-old, who has featured 18 times in the Premier League this term and once in the EFL Cup.
According to the Daily Express, that should not be a problem for Tottenham as they are prepared to give boss Jose Mourinho plenty of money this summer as part of a big rebuild.
However, Spurs could face competition from North London rivals Arsenal for Godfrey's signature, while Borussia Dortmund and Lyon may also be in the running.
