Report: Arsenal tracking Mattia Destro

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Roma forward Mattia Destro.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is on the lookout for a new striker in order to ease the burden on Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner.

According to Rai TV, the Frenchman has listed the Italian international, who has scored three goals in four appearances this season, as a potential target.

The North Londoners have reportedly made contact with the player's agent, Claudio Vigorelli, although the Giallorossi are thought to be reluctant to sell the 22-year-old.

Destro, who has four caps for the Azzurri, arrived in the Italian capital from Siena in July 2012.
