The Netherlands international, who is currently with his country at this summer's World Cup, is widely regarded as one of the best youngsters in European football.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 22-year-old's performances over the last couple of seasons have attracted the interest of both Arsenal and Spurs.

Veltman, who has been with Ajax since 2001, has three senior Dutch caps to his name.
