Report: Arsenal preparing Michu, Ashley Williams raid

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly preparing a £35m move for Swansea City duo Michu and Ashley Williams.

Wenger is under increasing pressure to spend this summer following the club's 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa on the opening weekend of the season.

According to the London Evening Standard, that has prompted the Frenchman to prepare a move for two of Swansea's star performers from last season.

Michu scored 22 goals during his first season in England last term, while Williams, who is valued in the region of £10m, is a long-term favourite of the Gunners boss.
