Report: Arsenal preparing Edinson Cavani bid

A report claims that Arsenal are preparing a £51m move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a £51m move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.

The Uruguayan international has been strongly linked with a move away from France this summer after becoming increasingly frustrated playing out of position with his current club.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both been credited with an interest, but according to The Metro, Arsenal now lead the race and are preparing a club-record move in this transfer window.

Cavani, 27, scored 25 times in 43 games for PSG last season.
