Real Madrid show Julian Draxler interest?

Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to challenge Arsenal for the signature of Julian Draxler during the summer.

The Gunners were heavily linked with the Schalke 04 attacking midfielder during last month's transfer window, but although a move failed to materialise, it was speculated that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger would reignite his interest in the 20-year-old at the end of the season.

However, the Premier League outfit may now face competition from their La Liga counterparts, according to reports in Spain.

The reports added that Madrid's pursuit of the German international would depend upon if they were able to prise Luis Suarez away from Liverpool.

The Uruguayan forward is thought to be Carlo Ancelotti's number one target, but Los Blancos may not be able to meet Liverpool's valuation.
