Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez reportedly want to earn the same wage as Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in order to sign new deals with Arsenal.
The Gunners are currently in negotiations with the star pair about extending their contracts, which are due to expire at the end of next season.
Ozil currently takes home £140,000 a week and Sanchez pockets £130,000, but according to the Evening Standard, the duo are said to be demanding new salaries around the same level as Pogba's £290,000 a week.
The newspaper says that the club are unwilling to meet their expectations and instead are preparing offers of around £200,000 a week, which would eclipse manager Arsene Wenger's current reported wage of £160,000.
Earlier this week Wenger confirmed that negotiations are ongoing with the pair over new deals.
