Borussia Monchengladbach says that they have no interest in Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner.

Borussia Monchengladbach scout Ove Flindt-Bjerg has distanced the Bundesliga outfit from a move for Arsenal misfit Nicklas Bendtner.

The Danish international, who has spent the last two season on loan at Sunderland and Juventus respectively, is heading for the exit door at the Emirates Stadium.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in the 25-year-old, but the Foals are not among those chasing his signature.

"We do not look for the type of player like Bendtner," Flindt-Bjerg told Bild. "We are looking for other types in the transfer window."

Bendtner started in just two of his nine appearances in Serie A for the Bianconeri this season.
