The agent of Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil has revealed that the 32-year-old is a man in demand as he runs down the final few months of his Emirates deal.
Ozil is free to negotiate with other clubs from January onwards, with his Arsenal contract expiring in the summer of 2021, and the ex-Germany international is spending his final days as a Gunner watching on from home.
Mikel Arteta chose not to include Ozil in his Premier League or Europa League squads, although the playmaker has a chance of being recalled to the fold next month.
However, Ozil's agent Dr Erkut Sogut has revealed that the German is attracting significant interest ahead of an expected summer departure, telling Fanatik: "Mesut has another 6-month contract with Arsenal. Certainly, he has missed football.
"He is currently working hard to wear the Arsenal shirt again, and he will continue to work. I would like to clearly state our situation regarding Fenerbahce. Yes, we had meetings with Fenerbahce. We had a one-on-one conversation with the club's most authorized people.
"However, we can never have a contact before January for official transfer talks. We received transfer offers for Mesut from all over the world.
"Fenerbahce's interest is also known. Nothing has changed for Mesut right now. Under these circumstances, it seems that Mesut will complete the season in Arsenal."
Ozil has frequently reiterated his desire to see out the remainder of his Arsenal contract, but the former Real Madrid man has not taken to the field since before the first coronavirus lockdown in March.
