Liverpool are reportedly leading the race to sign Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old has again been a key player for the Foxes during the 2021-22 campaign, making 25 appearances in all competitions, contributing six goals and three assists in the process.
Tielemans has entered the final 18 months of his contract at the King Power Stadium, and a recent report claimed that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City were all interested in his services.
According to El Nacional, Jurgen Klopp's side are at the head of the queue for the midfielder, who is expected to leave Brendan Rodgers's side during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that Klopp is determined to bring the Belgium international to Anfield, and the player himself is believed to favour a move to Merseyside over anywhere else.
Tielemans has scored 23 goals and registered 22 assists in 133 appearances for Leicester in all competitions since making the move from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
