Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Torino centre-back Nicolas Nkoulou this summer.
The 30-year-old will see his contract expire in June, and he is now free to hold talks with other clubs abroad.
The Daily Mail reports that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is keen to strengthen his defensive options after injuries to Diego Llorente and Robin Koch have disrupted his first-team selections this campaign.
Nkoulou, who played under the Argentine during a spell with Ligue 1 side Marseille, has previously been linked with Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, as well as French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Cameroon international began this season as one of Torino's first-choice centre-backs but was dropped to the bench in November following the Serie A side's poor run of results.
Nkoulou has recently been self-isolating after testing positive for coronavirus but is aiming to return to the squad soon.
