David Gold: 'West Ham United want to keep Mohamed Diame'

Co-owner David Gold says that West Ham United are doing everything in their power to keep hold of reported Arsenal target Mohamed Diame.

West Ham United co-owner David Gold has insisted that the club "are doing everything possible" to keep hold of Mohamed Diame.

The midfielder has been linked with a host of teams during the ongoing summer transfer window, including London rivals Arsenal.

However, when asked by a supporter on Twitter what would happen if the Gunners submitted a bid, Gold replied: "We are doing everything possible to keep Diame."

The 22-year-old signed on at Upton Park in June 2012 from Wigan Athletic.
