Middlesbrough have confirmed the loan signing of Folarin Balogun from Arsenal.
The England Under-21 international has linked up with Chris Wilder's side until the end of the 2021-22 campaign after struggling to break into Mikel Arteta's team this season.
Wilder previously attempted to secure Balogun's signature during his time with Sheffield United, and the Middlesbrough boss is "delighted" to welcome the 20-year-old to the Riverside.
Wilder told mfc.co.uk: "We're delighted to get Flo in. He's a player I've known about for a long time and we identified him as someone who could come in and improve us in the second half of the season. He has great movement, good pace, and he's a natural finisher. We're looking forward to working with him."
Balogun has made a total of 10 appearances for the Arsenal first team, bagging two goals and one assist in the Europa League last season, but he has not featured in the Premier League since August.
The striker boasts 13 goals from 11 games in the 2021-22 Premier League 2, though, and he joins Aaron Connolly and Caolan Boyd-Munce as Boro's winter signings so far.
