Cesc Fabregas is undergoing a medical in Barcelona after Arsenal agreed a deal for his transfer.
Late yesterday it was announced that one of the summer’s longest-running transfer sagas was over when the two teams reached an agreement for a £35m deal ‘in principal’.
The Spanish midfielder arrived in his hometown this morning to undergo medical tests before he signs his contract and is unveiled to the press at 2pm local time.
The 24-year-old joined the Gunners from Barcelona’s youth academy in 2003 and went on to score 35 goals in 212 appearances for the North London side.
