Chelsea reportedly turn down the chance to sign 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Kays Ruiz-Atil, whose future with the French champions looks uncertain.

Chelsea have reportedly turned down the chance to sign 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Kays Ruiz-Atil.

The Blues are understood to have been tracking the talented youngster in recent months and even sent technical advisor Claude Makelele to meet his representatives earlier this year.

Ruiz-Atil has reportedly told PSG that he wants to start training with the first team with a view to making his senior debut soon, but sporting director Leonardo did not respond favourably to that request.

Goal claims that the midfielder has been pushed closer to the exit door as a result, but that Chelsea will not be making a move for him.

Ruiz-Atil's contract with the French champions expires in 2021, and the likes of Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Marseille have also been credited with an interest in his signature.

The Frenchman was previously at Barcelona's famed La Masia academy but left in 2014 after the Spanish club were found guilty of breaching FIFA regulations regarding underage players.
