Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has said that he is fully focused on producing his best form for the North London outfit, despite having less than a year to go on his existing contract.
After missing the second half of last season through injury, Cazorla has established himself as a regular in the centre of Arsenal's midfield but he faces being a free agent in the summer should the Gunners not open talks over a new deal.
However, despite the uncertainty over his future, Cazorla is content with regular action on the pitch and trying to help Arsene Wenger's team compete at the top of the Premier League table.
The 31-year-old told IBTimes: "In my case I will finish my contract at the end of the season but I'm not thinking about it now. I'm just focusing on playing and giving my best on the pitch.
"Last season was very difficult for me after spending so much time on the sidelines. Now I just want to enjoy myself again – and we'll see what happens in the future."
Cazorla has scored 29 goals in 179 appearances for Arsenal since joining the club from Malaga in 2012.
