Bordeaux close to Yaya Sanogo loan capture?

A report claims that Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is nearing a six-month loan switch to Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux.

Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of agreeing to loan Yaya Sanogo out to Bordeaux.

The 21-year-old, who has made just six appearances for the Gunners in all competitions this season, has recently been linked with temporary switches to Crystal Palace and Lorient.

However, talks between Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux and their English counterparts are at an advanced stage, with a six-month switch potentially being concluded later this week, according to Get Football News France.

The report adds, though, that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would prefer to loan the striker to a Premier League club, which could potentially delay the deal.

The French Under-21 international joined the North Londoners from Auxerre back in the summer of 2013.
