Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang plays down talk of Arsenal exit

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang plays down suggestions that he could leave Arsenal during the January transfer window.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has suggested that he has no immediate plans to leave Arsenal, amid frequent speculation regarding his future.

With just 18 months left on his contract and the Gunners struggling to qualify for next season's Champions League, it has been claimed that the Gabon international could leave in one of the next two transfer windows.

However, after helping Arsenal see off Manchester United in the Premier League on New Year's Day, the player hinted that he will at least see out the campaign at the Emirates Stadium.

The 30-year-old told RMC Sport: "The English press likes to talk a lot. For now, I'm here. I'm 100% here."

Barcelona and Real Madrid are allegedly monitoring the situation ahead of a potential approach for Aubameyang.
