Arsenal reportedly face the threat of losing attacking duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette if the club fails to reach the Champions League this year.

Arsenal will reportedly lose key attacking duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette if the club fails to reach the Champions League this year.

The Gunners currently find themselves in their third successive year outside the Champions League, with Unai Emery's team finishing last season one point behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Questions over Arsenal's top-four credentials were illuminated last week by a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United followed by a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace.

According to The Telegraph, Emery is at risk of both attackers leaving in the next summer transfer window if Arsenal once again come up short in their pursuit of Champions League football.

The duo, who both joined Arsenal in the 2017-18 campaign, have been rare point of consistency, scoring an impressive 87 goals between them.

Arsenal's last game in the Champions League came in the form of a 5-1 defeat at home to Bayern Munich in the last 16 in March 2017, with the latter winning the tie 10-2 on aggregate.
