Arsene Wenger refuses to rule out more departures this summer.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out more of the club's stars leaving the Emirates next summer.

Captain Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott, Thomas Vermaelen and Andrei Arshavin will all enter the final 12 month of their contracts when the transfer window opens, and the Frenchman admits that he could be forced to sell, rather than risk losing them on a free transfer.

"Our desire is there to convince them to stay," he said. "We tried before and the financial gap on that front has become bigger for us.

"I cannot say that if we go to our maximum wage that we are sure to sign a player."

Samir Nasri, now of Manchester City, had one year left on his contract before leaving the club for a fee of around £23m this summer.
