Arsenal turn their attention to Yossi Benayoun after pulling out of a move for Mikel Arteta.

After shelving plans to sign Mikel Arteta from Everton, Arsenal have now turned their attentions to Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun.

The Israel captain is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and the Gunners have a reportedly offered to take the 31-year-old on a season-long loan deal.
