Arsenal are reportedly ready to compete with Manchester City for the signature of Aston Villa youngster Jaden Philogene-Bidace during this summer's transfer window.
City are believed to be interested in signing the 17-year-old ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to Football Insider, Arsenal have now joined the race for the forward, who will see his current deal at Villa Park expire this summer.
The report claims that Bayern Munich and Ajax have also been tracking the teenager this season, but he will seemingly be given the chance to join one of the Premier League's biggest clubs.
Philogene-Bidace has scored six goals in 10 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League this season, while the attacker has also turned out for Villa's Under-23 side during the 2019-20 campaign.
Arsenal's 1-0 win over West Ham United on Saturday afternoon means that Mikel Arteta's side are currently just five points off the top four in the Premier League table.
