Arsenal are ready to rival Barcelona for the signing of Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to a report.
The 22-year-old, who spent time at Camp Nou before leaving for Amsterdam in 2016, emerged as a rumoured target for Barca earlier this week.
Onana has caught the eye with his displays in Eredivisie and has also played a big part in Ajax's run to the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
Despite having to compete with Barcelona, The Mirror claims that Arsenal are not short of motivation and they are willing to pay up to £26m for the Cameroon international.
Arsenal splashed out to sign Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, but questions remain over the German's quality and Unai Emery is also about to lose back-up keeper Petr Cech to retirement.
