Chelsea reportedly give Arsenal until next week to decide whether they want to keep Yossi Benayoun on a permanent basis.

Chelsea have reportedly given Arsenal until next week to decide whether they want to keep Yossi Benayoun on a permanent basis.

The 32-year-old joined the Gunners on loan from Chelsea last summer and scored six goals in 25 appearances for Arsene Wenger's side.

He is expected to return to the Blues ahead of the new campaign but, according to The Metro, the Israel midfielder has already been told he can leave.

Chelsea are expected to accept offers in the region of £1m.
