New York Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh says that another loan deal for Thierry Henry to Arsenal is unlikely.

New York Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh has claimed that he would not "favour" a loan for Thierry Henry to Arsenal.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has recently claimed that he would consider signing the Frenchman on a temporary basis again but Roxburgh has stated that the MLS club could block a move.

"In general terms I wouldn't say it would be something we would favour," Roxburgh told the Daily Star.

"I think the length of the season we have here, when they get the break over the Christmas, New Year's period, they need to regenerate themselves. I'd say in general we wouldn't be too positive about it."

Henry spent a loan stint at the Emirates in January this year.
