Arsenal have reportedly identified Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi as a prime target for next summer's transfer window.
The 19-year-old has attracted interest from across Europe thanks to his performances in the Austrian Bundesliga so far this season, with the likes of Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain linked with an approach.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal are now keen to sign the Germany international but have been told they must wait until the summer to capture their target.
Such an update comes after the revelation that Alexandre Lacazette is set to leave the Gunners at the end of the season, with Mikel Arteta keen to source a long-term replacement for his attacking ranks and Adeyemi being eyed up as a prime target.
The 19-year-old has netted 11 goals in 14 top-flight appearances and three goals in four Champions League games for the Salzburg outfit so far this campaign, taking his tally to 25 goals alongside 17 assists in 73 games for the club at the tender age of 19.
His form has seen him earn three caps for the senior German national team, and Adeyemi managed to open his account for his country at the first time of asking in a 6-0 thrashing of Armenia.
