Arsenal 'still interested in Wilfried Zaha'

Arsenal could still move for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha this summer despite Nicolas Pepe's imminent arrival, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly still interested in a summer deal for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha.

Lille president Gerard Lopez has confirmed that the Gunners are closing in on a deal for Nicolas Pepe, who could cost the London side in excess of £72m.

A move for the 24-year-old ahead of the 2019-20 season was expected to end the club's interest in Zaha.

However, according to inews, Unai Emery's side have not given up their pursuit of the Ivory Coast international and are still exploring the possibility of a summer deal.

Everton have also been linked with a big-money swoop for the attacker, but the report claims that Zaha wants to remain in London.

The Gunners will round off their preparations for the new season against Barcelona this weekend ahead of their Premier League opener away to Newcastle United on August 11.
