Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Sevilla and Torino all discover the valuation of Club America defender Sebastian Caceres, according to a report.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur-linked Sebastian Caceres could be available for a little as €10m (£8.6m) in January, according to a report.

The 24-year-old centre-back is facing an uncertain future at Club America as he is due to see his contract expire in December 2024.

Caceres has spent nearly four years with the Mexican outfit, making a total of 116 appearances across all competitions since and including his debut in 2020.

Born in Montevideo, Caceres has earned nine caps for the Uruguay national team and has established himself as a first-team regular since Marcelo Bielsa handed him his debut in September.

Caceres has played every minute of Uruguay's 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign and helped his country claim impressive victories without reply over South American trio Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia in October and November respectively.

The 5ft 11in centre-back, who is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the Mexican top flight, is yet to win silverware with Club America and has been tipped to move to Europe next year.

Tottenham are one of a number of clubs who are said to have expressed an interest in Caceres, with a recent report claiming that they have initiated negotiations with Club America and submitted a formal offer last month.

Ange Postecoglou is believed to looking to bolster his options in defence following the hamstring injury sustained by summer signing Micky van de Ven, who is ruled out until the New Year.

Cristian Romero and Eric Dier are Spurs' other two first-team centre-back options, but the latter has struggled for regular game time this season and he continues to be linked with an exit having entered the final six months of his contract.

Arsenal, Sevilla, Torino and Napoli have also been credited with an interest in Caceres, and according to Tuttosport, via Fichajes, Club America are willing to listen to offers for the defender in January.

The report adds that Serie A outfit Torino have moved to the front of the queue for the Uruguayan's signature after submitting an initial offer of €7m (£6m).

However, Club America are said to be holding out for a bid of at least €10m (£8.6m) to sell the defender in the January transfer window.

As well as Tottenham, both Sevilla and Napoli have entered talks with the representatives of Caceres, who is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after defenders in world football.

Caceres's preferred destination is currently unknown, but it is understood that he has no intention of extending his contract with Club America, putting pressure on the Mexican side to sell him in either January or next summer to avoid losing him for free in a years' time.
