Arsenal plan mass exodus

Arsenal plan to offload as many as seven first-team players to pave the way for new arrivals this summer.

Arsene Wenger is planning a mass summer clear-out at the Emirates Stadium in order to make room for new arrivals.

The Gunners have already secured the signature of Lukas Podolski, with reports suggesting that Yann M'Vila and Junior Hoilett could be joining the German international in North London.

Before that happens, as many as seven first-team members are ready to be shipped out, including Nicklas Bendtner, Sebastien Squillace and Johan Djourou.

Sunderland have already decided not to buy Bendtner, who has just completed a loan spell on Wearside.

Other players believed to be getting the chop are Denilson, Lukasz Fabianski, Carlos Vela and Andrey Arshavin.
