Arsenal have reportedly made a fresh approach to sign Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.
Despite links with the Sweden international, Dusan Vlahovic and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in January, the Gunners failed to acquire a new number nine for the second half of the season.
As a result, Mikel Arteta's side are expected to prioritise a new striker for the summer window, when Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah will seemingly leave the club as free agents.
According to Sport, Arsenal have made fresh contact with the entourage of Sociedad striker Isak in the hope of driving down the Spanish side's €80m (£66.8m) release clause.
The report adds that Sociedad currently have no interest in negotiating a fee, but Isak's recent run of games without scoring could see them relent and allow the 22-year-old to leave for less.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Isak, who has only struck four goals in 20 La Liga games this season and is under contract at Sociedad until 2026.
