Arsenal reportedly approach Barcelona to discuss a £25.7m deal for Sergino Dest, but the right-back has no intention of leaving the club.

Arsenal are said to have made an approach for Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest amid speculation surrounding Hector Bellerin's future.

Bellerin has featured as Arsenal's first-choice right-back under Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta, but he lost that role to Calum Chambers at the back end of last season.

As a result, Bellerin is reportedly pushing for a move to Inter Milan, and Arteta will seek to replace the Spaniard during a busy summer of spending.

The Gunners have been tipped to move for Norwich City's Max Aarons as a replacement for Bellerin, but according to Sport, the Gunners have touched base with Barca over the possibility of a £25.7m deal for Dest.

The report adds that Bayern Munich and Juventus also registered their interest in the former Ajax man, but he has no intention of leaving Barcelona after becoming a regular under Ronald Koeman.

Dest claimed three goals and one assist from 41 appearances across all competitions last term, and his contract at Camp Nou does not expire until 2025.
