Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Athletic Bilbao centre-back Unai Nunez.
The 23-year-old has made 18 appearances for Athletic during the 2019-20 campaign but has not been a regular in La Liga this term, largely being named on the bench.
Manchester City are thought to be keen on the defender, who made his international debut for Spain in September 2019.
However, according to AS, Arsenal are also admirers of Nunez and could look to secure his signature during this summer's transfer window.
Nunez is believed to have a €30m (£26m) release clause in his current deal at San Mames, although the Gunners could face competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta's side are allegedly prepared to listen to offers for club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
