Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over a new contract.
The Gabon international has scored eight times in eight appearances for the Gunners this season, while he has netted 49 goals in 73 outings for his Premier League club in all competitions.
Aubameyang's current deal at the Emirates Stadium will expire in June 2021, and it was reported last month that the forward was eyeing a switch to Real Madrid.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have opened talks over a fresh deal for the former Borussia Dortmund attacker, who currently earns in the region of £200,000 a week.
Aubameyang scored his team's equaliser in Monday's Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford, which ultimately finished 1-1.
Next up for Unai Emery's side is their second Europa League group match at home to Standard Liege, with the Belgian side travelling to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
