Arsenal have reportedly been alerted to the possibility of Ezri Konsa being allowed to depart Aston Villa this summer.
The defender has remained a regular in the backline since Steven Gerrard's arrival in November, making a total of 24 starts in the Premier League this season.
However, with Gerrard having posted 10 defeats from his first 20 games in charge of the West Midlands outfit, he has made it clear that many of his squad are playing for their future.
According to Football Insider, Konsa's agent has been informed that Villa are ready to listen to offers for his signature, something which has seemingly alerted Arsenal.
The report claims that the Gunners will be in the market for another centre-back in the summer and are open to bringing the 24-year-old to the Emirates Stadium.
Although Konsa has over four years remaining on his contract, it appears that Villa may be prepared to find middle ground regarding the valuation of a player who may no longer be first choice over the coming weeks.
