Malaga financial crisis could aid Gunners move

Arsenal could move for Malaga's Santi Cazorla after Spanish club's financial crisis comes to light.

Arsenal Wenger has been encouraged in his attempts to sign Santi Cazorla after Malaga officials indicated that they need to cash in on the club's best players.

The Spanish club are currently up for sale but they have struggled to find a buyer. Spanish newspaper AS reports that Malaga have acknowledged the need to raise money from selling their most valuable stars.

Wenger has long been a fan of the Spanish international and it is believed that he could be successful with a bid if he wishes to press ahead with his interest.

A successful move for Cazorla would add to Arsenal's summer signings of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.
