Arsenal are weighing up a £6m January bid for Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero, according to reports.

Arsenal are close to completing the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero, according to talkSPORT.

The Gunners are believed to be in contact with the Spanish giants over a potential £6m January move for the 24-year-old.

Granero has failed to secure a spot in Jose Mourinho's first team and is reportedly keen on a move away from the Bernabeu.

With midfielders Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby dealing with injuries, Gunner boss Arsene Wenger could be tempted to make an early move for the Spaniard.
