Unai Emery 'given one month to save Arsenal job'

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has one month to save his job following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to a report.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery reportedly has one month to save his job following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was the third time in recent weeks that the Gunners dropped points from a winning position against teams many would have expected them to beat, and the Spaniard is now under increasing pressure from both the club's fans and some figures behind the scenes.

Arsenal were forced to deny rumours last week that their head of football Raul Sanllehi had held talks with Jose Mourinho about him potentially replacing Emery at the Emirates Stadium.

While owner Stan Kroenke is believed to want the former Paris Saint-Germain boss to have more time, The Mirror reports that if it looks unlikely that Arsenal will achieve their pre-season target of a top four finish in the run up to Christmas, Emery will be given the sack.

The report suggests that alongside Mourinho, others potentially in line to replace Emery include Patrick Vieira, Massimiliano Allegri and Mikel Arteta.
