Wednesday's Premier League predictions including Burnley vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Premier League fixtures, including Burnley vs. Liverpool.

Everton vs. Wolves (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Everton take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Wednesday, with the hosts requiring a victory to keep their slim hopes of qualifying for Europe alive.

Wolves, meanwhile, can no longer finish in the top half of the table after losing to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, so they may already be looking towards next season.

We say: Everton 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

This fixture represents the 15th best home record versus the 15th best away record in the Premier League this season, so a thriller is hardly expected.

As such, a share of the spoils seems likely, with both sides content to avoid defeat as the season draws to a close.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Newcastle vs. Sheff Utd (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

After an impressive victory over Everton on Sunday, already-relegated Sheffield United travel north on Wednesday to take on a Newcastle United side who recently confirmed their survival.

The Blades picked up just their sixth victory of the season last time out, and they will aim to finish the season strongly to build momentum for their return to the Championship next season.

We say: Newcastle United 1-1 Sheffield United

Neither team come into this game with anything to play for with regard to the league table, but both will be hopeful of continuing fairly positive runs going into the final two matches of the season.

On this occasion, we cannot split the sides and back the Blades to be boosted by one of their best performances of the season last time out, inspiring them to pick up another result on Wednesday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Spurs vs. Aston Villa (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Seeking to consolidate their hold on sixth spot in the Premier League table, Tottenham Hotspur welcome Aston Villa to the capital for Wednesday evening's top-flight battle.

The Lilywhites eased to a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, while Villa's rut continued with a 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Aston Villa

With Grealish potentially returning to the team in the capital, Villa will have that extra edge going forward, and Tottenham's defence is not exactly impenetrable.

However, Mason will be determined to sign off his short-lived time in charge in perfect fashion as Spurs bid to confirm qualification for Europe, so we cannot look past a comfortable home win.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

With European football still very much a possibility, Arsenal prepare for the penultimate fixture of their Premier League season against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.

The Eagles soared to a 3-2 win over Aston Villa at the weekend, while the Gunners have had a week to recover from their 1-0 victory at London rivals Chelsea.

We say: Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal

Arsenal would be making a fatal mistake if they were to underestimate Palace, but their record on the road should help them see out a routine victory at Selhurst Park.

Results elsewhere could either boost their chances of European football or consign them to a rare season with no continental competition, but we are backing them to march to a fourth successive top-flight win here either way.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Burnley vs. Liverpool (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Just three days on from Alisson Becker's historic header at The Hawthorns, Liverpool will endeavour to ensure that such an immediately iconic Premier League moment is not squandered when they face Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday.

Alisson kept Liverpool's top-four hopes alive in the most extraordinary circumstances with his 95th-minute winner on Sunday, but Liverpool know that they still need to win their final two games of the campaign to give themselves the best chance of securing Champions League football again next season.

We say: Burnley 1-2 Liverpool

This is exactly the type of fixture Liverpool have struggled with this season, but nothing less than a win will do for them and the nature of their last two results in particular should leave them flying ahead of this contest.

Burnley's home form is poor while Liverpool's record on the road has kept their top-four hopes alive in recent months, and the visitors have also won five of their six Premier League trips to Turf Moor in the past.

It is likely to be another hard-fought game in which Liverpool dominate possession but struggle for goals, but at the end of it all we are expecting Klopp's men to get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

West Brom vs. West Ham (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Fans will be in attendance as West Bromwich Albion play their final Premier League game at The Hawthorns before their return to the Championship on Wednesday, welcoming European hopefuls West Ham United to the Midlands.

The Baggies have already been consigned to relegation, but there is plenty left for West Ham to play for as they bid to end a fine season on a high.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 1-2 West Ham United

West Ham have not kept a clean sheet in their last nine league games, while the Baggies have conceded in their last five, so there should be chances and goals available at both ends of the pitch in this one.

The Hammers have shot themselves in the foot as far as the top-four race is concerned with an ill-timed dip in form, but Europa League football is still very much achievable and Moyes will want a good end to the season.

West Brom have already shown that they will go down fighting and the hosts will not be an easy touch for the visitors, but we expect West Ham to just about get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
