Jack Wilshere thinks that Thierry Henry's loan move to Arsenal is "great news" for the Premier League side.

Jack Wilshere has named Thierry Henry as a major reason for the midfielder to step up his recovery from injury.

The England international has been sidelined since July after picking up an ankle injury, but is expected to make a return to action in February.

Wilshere wrote on Twitter: "Can't wait to get back playing even more now I have the chance to play with a legend like Thierry Henry! Great news for the club!"

The 20-year-old suffered a setback in the early stages of his rehabilitation but is now on course with his recovery.
