Arsene Wenger plays down Jack Wilshere injury

Jack Wilshere will be back from injury in "a few days" according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Arsene Wenger has claimed that Jack Wilshere will only be out for "a few days" with the injury the midfielder suffered during the 1-0 victory over Sunderland.

The England international had to be replaced by Abou Diaby in the second half after complaining of a problem in his right leg.

Wenger told reporters: "Jack will be out for a few days. It's nothing bad.

"It was a very intense game. When the second goal doesn't come, you have to keep your nerve"

Arsenal are now fifth in the Premier League, four points behind rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
