Arsene Wenger says that he is "absolutely convinced" that Olivier Giroud will be a success at Arsenal, despite the striker's inability to nab a goal for the Gunners so far.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that striker Olivier Giroud will find the net sooner rather than later.

The Frenchman, who moved from Montpellier this summer, has yet to open his scoring account with the Gunners, while his forward partner Lukas Podolski has already netted three goals in five outings.

"I'm very happy with his attitude and his commitment," said Wenger. "I'm absolutely convinced he will be successful."

Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has returned to full training following a year out of the game with an ankle injury.
