Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has compared Santi Cazorla to Glenn Hoddle in the wake of his side's win at West Ham United.
The Gunners came from behind to beat the Hammers 3-1 at Upton Park thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Cazorla after Mohamed Diame had put the hosts in front.
The Spaniard has enjoyed a fantastic start to his career at the Emirates Stadium, and Wenger believes that there are similarities between him and Hoddle.
"Cazorla is like Glenn Hoddle is some ways," stated Wenger. "Left-footed, right-footed, you could not say what he was and Cazorla is similar.
"I don't remember anyone else I have worked with who was as two-footed and it is so important to have this quality in the modern game. He has the ability to make everyone a better player and that is why I feel is fantastic to watch.
"It looks like he will be the new favourite of the Arsenal fans as they can appreciate his quality. They have seen many great players during my time here as manager, so they need to see someone special to be excited, but they see that in Cazorla."
Wenger worked with Hoddle during their days at Monaco in the late 1980s.
